Thought I better write a quick post and let you all know that we ARE still alive!
We have had 6 weeks with our boys home and have had some great highs and of course those dreaded lows.
We continue to make achievements almost daily on the road to find our new "normal" (if there is such a thing). When looking back from our first few weeks til now, I realize just how far we have come and thought I would share a few of our biggest accomplishments!
*no one is screaming, running, afraid of the cats anymore
*we have everyone sleeping in their OWN beds
*we have converted Nati into a big boy bed
*we only have one child in diapers as of today
*we know which toilet seat to raise for going #1 and #2
*we know how to buckle our seat belts and KEEP them fastened (or the police will make mommy pay money)
*Angesom has learned over 70 sight words
*everyone is working hard to memorize our meal and bedtime prayer -so far the littles know "In Jesus name, Amen"
*we have all learned the rule "have to share" even though everyone does not follow it :-)
*Angesom is now riding his scooter like a pro...the first few weeks he would fall over immediately
*we successfully had family photos taken (hope to get them back soon so I can share)
and much, much, more!
What accomplishments have you or your little one acheived lately? Sometimes it takes reflecting back to see that anything is actually happening other than chaos, lol!
